Sometimes life seems just too tough

and the oceans we sail are a little too rough.


Sometimes the sun stays behind the cloud

and the pain inside can't be said out loud.


Sometimes your hopes are too far out of reach

and you wonder why love is not something they teach.


Others don't always see how hard you are trying

and you can't find the switch to stop your crying.


Just remember after rain, there is often a rainbow

and the sun is not always hiding in shadow.


Inside your heart there is a spark you can't see

you can't fight the future what will be will be.


I may not be wise but when I look at you

I know you have strength to pull you through.


Your spirit outshines all of your pain

Your a beautiful person, even though you may doubt

and all your friends smile, when you are about.
